Hello, I am curious as to whether anyone has any knowledge of Christian communities that exist? I do not mean just fellowships merely, but more so communes. I know of a couple. One I think is called 12 tribes, another the Jesus something in Chicago or somewhere.
I watched a documentary Ken Burns' America: The Shakers. It's very interesting has anyone seen it? It speaks of the Shakers who lived in community with a very strong devotion to God in community etc.
