I place an emphasis on the death AND resurrection of Christ, and knowing the free and saving grace of God that assures us of the forgiveness of our sins. Muslims don't believe Jesus was crucified, and they don't believe you can know if your sins have been forgiven. These are amazing concepts to them.

Depend on the Holy Ghost... There are Million of methods.. But the greatest sin of the church(we Christians) is that we are so Independent of God..

There are 3-6 million Muslims in the US so that we as Christians can share the gospel with them without being put in jail for doing so, like some countries do. This is a great opportunity as evangelicals to share God's love with them. Muslims have the same hurt and needs as you and I do, and God loves them and wants them for Himself. The question is, are we ready to be a part of God's plan in evangelizing Muslims for Christ?

To reach Muslims; Christians must love the Muslims genuinely, and commit themselves to prayer for them. We must submit to the leadership of the Holy Spirit and be ready to sacrifice many things that we take for granted. We must have patience and perseverance, and most of all we must live Christ like before the Muslims. Christians must be deeply rooted in their faith and the Bible when witnessing to Muslims. Churches and their members need to have the knowledge of Islamic Traditions and religion. Be acquainted with their culture and the mentality of Muslims. We also must have the knowledge of the history of the people group we are reaching.

Christians must always avoid arguments and debates, they are usually counter productive. We need to be sensitive to their culture and respectful to their beliefs. Christians have to create an atmosphere of trust due to the long history of animosity between Islam and Christianity in their countries. Befriend them and show them love and care (Christ's love and care).

Good question partner, You are not alone, many of us are ignorant on this one because we always strike out on the 1st pitch, rite? try approaching him culturly(Jesus is greater than any culture)but you have to start somewhere where he can identify with, scratch where it itchs! Remember it is your responsibility how you are heard- example, Jesus was full of grace and truth, many times we come at them with the truth and hit them over the head with it and expect them to respond correctly.
They don't want Christianity! Everybody is a christian in America, you can't blame them for not wanting what all Americans have. I don't want it neither, but what I want is Christ!, and to follow Him!, and deep down, thats what they want. Remember Christ is not a bad person according to their qur'on He is mentioned more often than Muhhamed, they just can't except that He is the Son of God because they think that we think that God had physical relations with Mary and Christ was born.We don't believe that but we must be able to somehow be able to explain that. They also believe we have 3 -God Jesus Holy Spirit. In response I ask
(not debating or arguing) them if they too have 3 gods, and they are quick to say no! Then I ask the question
- do you believe that Allah(God)His word and His Spirit are one, and they say yes- I say you have 3 Gods- their responce is always no-no! Well in the same way we explain the trinity. But the biggest and most important thing is that they see Christ in us lived out in GRACE AND TRUTH not just truth. If Christ would have come to me with truth only, I surely would be condemned, so as we recieved Christ Jesus our Lord , let us walk it out. God Bless You

I shared the following in a private e-mail, and thought it would be profitable for all:

---
I've never led a Muslim to the Lord and seen one saved... that I know of, but generally speaking yes. I preach the same gospel to Americans as I do Muslims. The cross is very much a stumbling block to Muslims as it is the rest of fallen humanity. Especially since they outright deny and reject the idea that Jesus was crucified. Likewise, I put a great emphasis on the need for us to be saved by grace, and knowing that our sins are forgiven. They believe in salvation by works alone. Indeed, unless you keep all of the pillars of Islam perfectly, you have no hope of salvation according to their theology. But even if there is such a Muslim who keeps them all, they will die in the terror of never knowing for sure that their sins are forgiven. They don't believe you can know on this side of eternity if your works have justified you in the sight of God.

And because you have such a system in place, this has given much room for the more extreme and radical elements of Islam to surface. For some believe that by becoming suicide bombers they will secure their salvation. With such a view, how glorious such a message of free grace should appear! They don't need to die, for Jesus died for their sins!

What a beautiful opportunity to tell the JW, Buddist, Jew, Catholic, Hindu, Mormon, Muslim, sinner etc..... what Christ has done in you(Good News). A changed life speaks volumes. In that you will speak to all kinds of things including but not limited to: (Sovereignty ,Omnipotence ,Omniscience....Rightousness and ,Holiness), what God revealed to you about yourself, true repentance, the grace of His Son and being forgiven much, rebirth, narrow path, counting the cost, the many words of Christ and a sundry of other gems the spirit will lead you to speak to him as he guides your words. Bath it in persistant prayer asking the Lord to have mercy on him and open his eyes to the revelation of God. Then let the Spirit work upon him all the while being available and loving. Ask saints you fellowship with to share in the burden and privilege of prayer for this man. Praise God for the opportunity to count you faithful. That would be a start.
