God is good!

I just wanted to thank you Lord publicly, for all you have done for me in my life, and thank you for continuing to Bless me and use me in the mist of all my imperfections. I can't wait for the day, when I can see you and we can embrace each other, I can't even imagine, what that will feel like.

In the midst of present turmoil, uncertainties in this world, I am ever so thankful that we have a God who we know to be in total control, even the bad things that happen. He allows this to demonstrate to us where we are in our faith in Him.

Yes, God is good. But when ever I think this, I always come back to this question, "by whose standard am I measuring God's goodness?" "Where does my perception of the goodness of God come from?" Soon I feel like the dog chasing his tail..then I know God's goodness is so far beyond me or my comprehension.

The fact that I understand this to be the reality, I am left with wonderment,a sense of awe....and I know this comes from God and it works wonders to any fear that may reside in my heart.
