THE COMING OF JESUS

THE COMING OF JESUS - David Wilkerson

I believe Jesus is coming very soon. We see the Lord gathering the nations together against Israel. Events are moving rapidly toward Armageddon.

“When you see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors” (Matthew 24:33).

“Of the day and hour knoweth no man, no, not even the angels of heaven, but my Father only” (v. 36).

All signs point to a Mideast war against Israel. Out of the turmoil in Arab nations will come a united call to destroy Israel. We are beholding the fulfillment of prophecies we have preached about for many hears.

Those who know the Scriptures have a Holy Ghost inner sense of the Lord’s return. We hear the call of the Holy Spirit dwelling in us, crying, “Even so, Lord Jesus, come.” Jesus said,
“Watch therefore: for you know no what hour your Lord will come” (v. 42).

“Be ready, for in such an hour as you think not the Son of man cometh” (v. 44).

“Blessed is that servant, whom his Lord, when he comes, shall find so doing” (v. 46).

Beloved, do you feel—do you sense—that these are the last of the last days? Do you share the longing for his appearance?

Look up; our redemption is drawing near!

You would think most Christians are looking for the return of our Lord.

But many seem so caught up in this world, that they just don't want to go.

So it appears.

We do need to lift up our heads, for our redemption does draw near.

God bless.

Amen Enid,

The Lord is so good. He is doing His part in preparing us. It is up to us to seek and to hear what He is saying.

This is a great message for such a time as this.

It is the featured sermon here on SI. It really spoke to my heart and I said Hallelujah Lord. You love us so much.

Sunday, Brother Carter thankfully did warn his people in the first half of his message that we would see the antiChrist.
According to all of the Biblical prophesies and the secular voices of those in power that desire this one world leader - he will come on the scene during a 'war' and will be such a counterfeit, that he'll appear as a "savior of the world" - deceiving the nations by how much "scripture" he fulfills to mainly the Jewish people and some that even call themselves christians.
One thing that Satan does best and is doing is counterfeiting Prophecy.
We need to look more into Daniel Chpt 8 to see where "the little horn" comes out from and after what battle.
That battle is the bringing down of the Medes and Persians and then from out of that, comes the little horn.

The purpose of John being shown the Seals, Trumpets and Vials was so that we have a chronological idea of how it all will happen before His return.

Armageddon is the very last event that only begins to line up in Chpt 16 of the Revelation but isn't fulfilled until Rev 19. [eta]

AntiChrist is not revealed at that battle. That battle takes place at the Return of Christ to reign on the earth.

Many will be deceived into thinking that this war that is brewing now is Armageddon and many will be deceived, thinking that The LORD is coming with this war in the middle east because of it... when actually, it will be the beginning of a reign of terror by the counterfeit savior of the world, and that "by peace he will destroy many".

Jesus said: "Pray that you not be deceived."

Daniel 8-12 and the Revelation need to be read much more chronologically than they have been, because many have spiritulized them both, and also we need to learn Jesus' words from Matt 24, Mark 13, Luke 21 and those things that Paul and Peter bring forth on the events that precede His Return and the final battle of Armageddon and the destruction of Babylon that precedes that Final battle, that brings Christ Back to earth permanently. In Rev 16 we only see the kings and nations of the earth 'preparing' for Armageddon at the 6th Vial but the 7th Vial brings the total destruction of Babylon - "that great city" - which continues through chpt 17 & 18 and finally in Chpt 19 we see the coming of the LORD to destroy these who have gathered. The battle of Armageddon is preceded by MUCH that has not happen yet and antiChrist will reign 3 1/2 yrs before the battle of Armageddon. AntiChrist has not been revealed as yet.
By reading Daniel 8, we see when and after which war he comes out from and fulfills the remainder of Daniel's description of him from chpt 8 on through chpt 12.

Pray one for another.

In His Great Love

Hi Joyful heart,
I think if Niniveh(spelling may not be correct)was sent a prophet to warn them of Gods Judgement well I think this Generation also will be sent a credible witness to warn them.I dont think that even at a stretch anyone could describe the present day Church as been credible.I point the finger at myself as much as anyone else.
Being saved through grace isnt enough to be credible.
My prayer is that we will be made credible.
Yours Staff

I agree Staff,
We have to do our part and stay very close to Him, not be too busy, be in the Word, in prayer and flowing over to share with those who the Lord brings our way, to be still and hear the convictions of the Holy Spirit in our own hearts and repent, be praying for others etc. God's grace and our seeking Him while He may be found and repenting is what we need. Each person. Not waiting for anyone for anything. I am praying with you as are others here.

HIS WORD IS credible Staff. IF we read it as a little child with no preconceived notions or teachings of men that pollute our ability to read and see clearly.

Can I share how I read His Word?
The same way I was taught to read in the 1st and 2nd grade.
We had the "Dick and Jane" books back then - so this is how we read them then.
"See --- Dick --- run. -- See ---- Jane ---- now."

That's how I read His Word. Looking for a while at each single word at a time and with no thoughts to His meaning, except to take Him seriously and literally and praying as I read and if needed, if one of those words needs more light - I'll just look it up in the original language's dictionaries - just like we did in elementary school... as kids.

One need only read Revelation 15 and 16 to 19 as plainly as a human possibly can, as a little child, to see the context or timing of Armegeddon - the topic of this thread.

Shalom!

HiJesus-is-god'
The word credibility is never in question. The world on the whole doesnt read the word.
We can share the word but if we only talk the talk and not walk the walk! The world may be decieved but they are not stupid. The church is not a credible witness and I dont think God will send final Judgements until a warning is given by a credible witness who preach through word and action. Some of the stuff going on at the moment is almost laughable except it is so sad,Staff

For a minute there I began to get tears in my eyes after reading your post because I think I do know what you mean - but I had to shake myself and remember that the word the LORD gave Elijah, there are 7000 others who have not bowed a knee to Baal.
Of course there are many many more Overcomers surrounding us, even at this moment, that know their GOD and HIS WORD.

If any man is willing to do the will of GOD, they will know Jesus' doctrine ... he said.

I don't think that was asking too much. Just "willing to do His will".

I reckon loving Him, loving His truth and loving others is the whole of it and if that's the case - we're far from alone and GOD 'will' have a Church - even Daniel said that they will "win many to righteousness" in those days and do exploits. I just know that we talk with 'them' everyday.

Sweet Blessings to you from our Master & Saviour.
