Drawn to Outward Appearance (Skin color, money) or draw to Christ

This is not meant to slander or make fun. This is an observation. With alot of these revivals, which I appreciate, it seems as if some of it was a social club with power. It seemed like people were drawn to outward appearance (skin color, money, popularity, personalities). Some revivals were cut off because they didn't want to reproduce that person's or group's revival. Why is an awakening great if someone rich, of a certain skin color does it?

I don't agree with the secular view of this video but... this kinda looks at how people's revivals were aborted or stopped or seen as rebellious. Certain people (i.e. colored) would be seen as disrupting the neighborhood, trying to take over, or being out-of-control. Certain revivals and people's meetings were purposefully cut off-not just because of that group's sin but some people didn't want to reproduce certain types of revivals.

John 7:24 Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment.

These revivals are revealing a lot of people's hearts not always a great move of God. It reveals respect of persons, unrighteous judgments of outward appearance, sensual wisdom, emotionalism, pride, lust to win people's heart, credibility and influence, desires of human praise, seeking self-glory,Calvinism, and killing someone else to get to the top and build one's own ministry. Revivals happen with many people--blacks, whites, Hispanics, Asians. Great awakenings or revivals are not limited to a specific or elite group. Things aren't happening because of UNBELIEF that God can use colored people and others than one specific rich or specific skin color. Its the sin of ALL of us. The beauty of the outward appearance deceives and physical favor of certain races is vain.

God have mercy on all of us. ALL OF US are guilty of this! Please deliver us! In Jesus name, AMEN

IT is not by the power of skin color, condemnation, sinful competition, education, numbers, popularity, or money--it is by the Spirit of the Lord! People are seeking the kingdom of men, popularity and praise, not God.

First, you may or may not know that links to youtube are not appreciated, and this thread is in danger of being locked because of it.

Next, after seeing a warning on the video that it contains language that some might find offensive, is inappropriate for children, and viewer discretion is advised, I stopped the video.

Regardless of the material you use to put your point of view across, the video clearly can't be worth viewing should it contain such warnings before it even begins.

Surely this subject can be discussed without having to view questionable material?

Please reconsider the video.
