bakary Apr 6, 2011

1.If you are not prepare to lose all things, you are not yet prepare to gain Christ in fullness and reality, either permanently or temporarily the seeker of Christ most know the reality of losing the things which are dear to him , that he might learn how to be satisfy in Christ alone.
2.Until Christ become your only Comfort you have not yet enter HIS true freedom and rest. Natural men seek comfort in riches, land , wives , husband , sensual pleasure, religious activities etc but true saint seek Comfort in Christ alone. Are you natural or a saint ? your reaction to the withdrawal of all other comfort will reveal who you are.
3.Christ rest , is freedom but bondage to our selfish nature. His work is to liberate us from the things which enslave us , this is death but Life in HIM. Blessed are they that die daily to partake in the mystery of this divine freedom.
4. Are you a seeker of Christ ? put this in your mind daily that the only thing which he has guaranteed, to keep IN you for all eternity is HIS Eternal Life. Riches, religious activities, wives , husband , comfort Etc HE will take away any day.Are you prepare to lose all this any day ? be prepare least that day come like a thief. These was what kept all the victorious saint in all ages. They were daily prepare to lose all things , while daily pressing to gain more of Christ.
5. No one can keep the Faith to the end, If he/she desires to know and understand everything God is leading to, all at once. Be prepare to be faithful even when all seems to be shaking , remember Job. Even Abraham the friend of God have to follow God , though he knew not all that God was leading him to , God is not a respecter of persons (Hebrew 11v8 )

Bakary

Have you entered Christ's rest, have you gained Christ in his fullness....

I am not asking you to be critical, I am asking as I am a seeker of his rest and want Christ to be revealed in me...

You ask the question "Are you prepare to lose all this any day?"

This reminded of the day that I walked out of the church and prayed "Father I know what you said to me and I believe every word that you spoke to me, I don't know how you will do it but I believe it, but I am not going back to church" (This was in regard to my calling)

The next step I took the Holy Spirit spoke and said "You'll be just like Job"

At the time I didn't understand it, was I being punished, to be honest at the time I was a bit scared...

Now years on after the Spirit spoke these words to me, I am beginning to understand why it had to be that way, why I had to be like Job...

He is leading me to freedom from myself, he is leading me to victory over sin, he wants me to live a victorious life.

One day and I believe it to be soon I will testify Gal 2:20 I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I that live, but Christ living in me: and that life which I now live in the flesh I live in faith, the faith which is in the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself up for me.

God bless you brother I understand what you are saying , when God gives us truth he brings us to practical experience from glory to glory. Yesterday I was tried beyond my natural ability but HIS keeping more is within this I possess and do not doubt I am in HIS rest brother.

Yes Sir, wonderful revelation.... I can concur with your post murrcolr.

One our appointed times, we all will have to wait until our change comes. the change that Christ seeks in us, I am going through something of that exp, not nearly as devastating as Job, but it feels like it from time to time.

It definitely is a time of pruning and removing, and i can say that this is the Lord's doing, he is and chooses to remove everything that is fleeting and cheap, so that he can replace it with eternity and understanding.
