Anyone familiar with John Calvin's writings directly?

sermonindex Apr 7, 2011

Is there anyone on Sermonindex that can help point me to what Calvin said about certain scriptures like Hebrews 6:4-8, Romans 11:22 or 2 Corinthians 13:5, which talk about loss of salvation or falling away?

Calvin's commentaries are full of great exhortations, thoughts and principles. He does a tremendous job on many verses of Scripture.

You can actually purchase the entire set for only $120: http://www.christianbook.com/calvins-commentaries-institutes/9780801013317/pd/024405?item_code=WW&netp_id=571455&event=ESRCN&view=details

Calvin was the best theologian since the days of Paul.
Matthew Henry was a sharp theologian also.

You can find more bibel comments here with different famous theologians.
