It is time to stop all the antics of being a Christian. (Speaking to myself). It is like the end is in one hour and what would we say to our loved ones, friends and anyone close by that needed Jesus?

Get right with God! The end is at the door.

We would not water down the Gospel, be concerned about offending, tell them about how to be a good or even be a godly Christian, living a godly life. We would not be concerned about going to meetings, etc. We would not even invite them to Church - no time. We would tell them that very second we saw them to repent and believe - Jesus the Savior of the world loves them and died in their place - belive.

We would tell it like it is. Not sugar coated and with an urgency in our being. There is no time for that if there is only an hour left to make a choice.

The Lord gave me this last night and it is burning in my whole being on how short our time is. Now if that means Him coming back or a blast from a nuclear, I am not really sure, maybe both. I just don't know. Just that it is shorter than I thought.

What I do know is it is time to share just plainly and with urgency Jesus Christ and Him crucified with everyone - get right with God. Our end is coming quickly. No more planting seeds, no more watering seeds. The time is now for the simple but powerful Gospel to be shared in love & with Holy Ghost passion only.

This is so real to me from the Lord that I cannot share it's urgency enough to share just Jesus Christ.

I am not a theologian so please don't pick it apart but pray and see if the Lord would burn it into your being as well.

God bless us all with more of Him and a burning to share Him with everyone. And many souls be saved for His Name sake. Amen

I read an article in the paper about an interview between Donald Trump and NBC News. Trump stated emphatically that, "America is going to Hell."

Of course, Mr. Trump was speaking metaphorically about his own opinion of the current state of affairs.

But it made me think: The WHOLE world IS going to Hell. Literally.

Greg said something in another thread. Some people are out predicting the return of Christ on May 21st. Others are making similar proclamations about the timing of either a "rapture" or "great tribulation."

Yet, even aside from those things, there is an imminence and urgency regarding certain eternal consequences.

Today, about 100,000 people will die. Some will die from murder, some from starvation, some from disease, some from suicide. A few of them will die from natural "old age" causes. The majority of those people will die without having ever known Christ Jesus.

Like you said, this should shake us. There is no "sugar coating" this. Whether a person dies from natural causes, disease, or some massive nuclear holocaust -- the time is short. This is true whether or not a person dies today or in another 70 years. We will all stand before the Lord on that Day of accountability.

Thank you for the encouragement to pray. I will join you in prayer. Thankfully for believers, "to die" is great "gain." There is a victory over death for us. Unfortunately, there are BILLIONS of people on this planet where death is the first stage of an eternity of horror.

I will pray that the Lord of the harvest sends forth workers...because the time is short.

I guess what was put on my heart so strongly was if there was a room with myself and other people who did not know Jesus - and our lives were going to end, say in an hour. What would I say to them? I would have that urgent necessity to get straight to the point of Salvation. Not watered down, not planting seeds etc. but say everything I could to see that they get to Heaven before it is too late.

I truly have no idea when the Lord is coming back or if or when we will be attacked. But He put it on my heart so strongly that the time was now to share the Gospel in love boldly. No time to waste because the time is so short.

To be honest, I have not always been the best witness to my family. But that is under the Blood and they see a more stable person over the years. Glory to God. I will be able to share with them the urgency of Salvation knowing God has heard my prayers for them and has been actively working in them. And last night He confirmed that NOW is the time to be bold with love and passion - don't hold back because the time is close.

Maybe it was just for me but I don't think so. Do pray and see if the Lord is laying this heavily on your hearts too.

I haven't had the sense of the time being short as much as you say, BUT I have had an increasing sense of UNEASINESS that is very troubling in my spirit. A sense that things just cannot go on as they are. And at every turn as there are earthquakes, and tsunamis, and threats of government shutdown, and gas prices soaring.....most people seem to just be looking at what can be done politically. Maybe it is just a variation on a theme, but my sense has been that intense persecution is coming - not just to Europe and Asia - but HERE.....The state of the Church is pathetic, and I believe that because of the tough times, and persecution, the true believers will be known, while the "name only Christians" will fall by the wayside. Whatever slant you put on it, I do believe we are in desperate times....
