I write this asking for someone to pray not only for the war in Afghanistan, but also for my uncle, who is one of many men and women who are being redeployed.

Yes he is. In his first tour in Iraq, while he was pray in his bunk, he was wounded by a mortar round, later the doctor told him that had he had just been sitting there, he would have taken most of the shrapnel in his chest. He told me that that night, he had felt god with him and leading him. I guess if you really look at it, you could consider that a praise and a miracle.

Amen! Yes, praying for all the military and your Uncle. Praise God He is watching over him and others as well. Glory to God. Looking forward to the Day there will be no more wars.
