This was an interesting morning, a pool of death in a sea of inequity. I am spending the Easter weekend in Seattle, a center for nature worship, much occultic activity and a politically correct, permissive attitude. I visited a local church's sunrise service on Green Lake on this still but overcast morning. The question in the teaching was, "Why the resurrection?" The pastor claimed that it was simply the exclamation point at the end of Christ's suffering and sacrifice on the cross to prove that He had really paid for our sins. Is that all it really was? Is the work and purpose of God so small? Indeed, the Lord confirmed what He had been showing me in 2 Peter. This is a cloud carried by a tempest, wells without water, one who allures through the covetousness of the flesh. Those, who like Peter states, "twist [the writings of Paul] to their destruction" who state that because "there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus" that they can live a free and easy life without searching and praying to know what it really means to be "in Christ Jesus."
