This item is picked up from an evening tabloid in Sweden. I did some research on this and found this statement to be false. This article is a truncated version of a full length article by Steve Harrigan of Fox News Channel. "If we park our car it will be damaged — so we have to go very often in two vehicles, one just to protect the other vehicle," said Rolf Landgren, a Malmo police officer.This is a direct quote from a police officer on the scene in Sweden who appears to be making the comment while in route to a disturbance. Watching the video is even more unsettling than reading the article.Moreover, reading the article in its entirety and watching the video causes me great concern for the people of this area. And, if even remotely true, warrants not only prayer, but prayer and fasting. Although still secular media, I am not as quick to dismiss a report from Fox News as I am others. Their news is not generally 'tabloid' material. Since reading this I am very stirred to pray not only for that nation but our own. False religion is the enemies greatest weapon and damns more souls than anything else. It is the epitomy of Spiritual warfare to pray about these topics! Regards,-Robert

I have stated that this so called news item is at its initial circulation picked up from a Swedish evening tabloid trying to survive in the harsh media climate by playing on working class mentality, creating fear and dissension rather than helping the two segments of a diversified society to understand and cooperate.I grew up in a nearby university city. I preach in churches in the very suburb mentioned – Rosengard. I regularly communicate with prayer groups in the city of Malmo. We are more than able to verify the falsified views presented in this so called news item.To open for news reporting of this category displays an unwillingness to give room for the priestly sensitivity and a sober discernment necessary in a prayer room.Lars W.

Hi Bro. Lars,I understand your position and share your resentment for the fear mongering of secular media. To read the news article at face value and then watch the accompanying videos makes for an impressive case. If it is indeed a false article, as you have stated it is, there is some serious misinformation and propiganda being fabricated and a lot of energy devoted to it. To open for news reporting of this category displays an unwillingness to give room for the priestly sensitivity and a sober discernment necessary in a prayer room.Again, the article is found on Fox News channel who generally provide a more realistic version of reality than the other networks. Either way prayer is in order. Surely you do not want the enemy to gain an advantage and spread more fear and tension between these groups. If there are two segments of a diversified society to understand and cooperate , then there must be 'some' conflict and subsequent need for reconciliation. I was just in the homes of some American Indians in the reservation areas of South Dakota this weekend and I listened to the effects of racial tension. When there is racial tensions the people become extremely patriotic to their cause and 'people.' Soon, if left unchecked, the hatred can become so great that the line of demarcation becomes a battle line and old issues get brought back up and fought over that have nothing to do with the present generation except the fact that they are descendants of the ones who were in conflict. We have a saying for that here in the midwest of the US, we call it the "Hatfields and the McCoys." In this case the indians were bringing the old indian ways back into their Christianity and if you listen long enough it is rooted in bitterness. Now, I could get along just fine here in Missouri not knowing any of this stuff. And if an article showed up in a local paper or a flyer on a light pole I could say that the writer is a fear monger and sowing discord. Discord is an abomination to God. What will I do now that I am aware of these things? I can pray and seek the Lord for a solution before the problem explodes.
