Question for you all, please?

Hi all,
Somewhere, and I cannot remember where, I believe in Acts, Luke, or maybe Romans, I think it was either Paul or Peter was talking to a group of people and again gave them the choice to recognize and accept Jesus as Lord and Savior, but again they didn't, so either Peter or Paul said to them something like 'we will now take the Gospel to the Gentiles...'

Can anyone please tell me where that passage is?

Read Acts 13.

Also remember that in this account Paul and Barnabas determined to lose no more time at Antioch on their ungrateful countrymen, but to do what they could for the conversion of the Gentiles there. This does not mean that they stopped preaching to Jews elsewhere.

I'm also looking for a verse in the Old Testament - it could be Psalms but I'm not sure. It's one of the passages where history is being restated.

The reference I specifically want, names a god.

Possibly it's the Egyptian name for a god which has another name elsewhere.

It's the only text I've read which is a reference to the fact that a god - a physical idol - was with the children of Israel in the wilderness, being carried from Egypt to the Promised Land. (The word is NOT 'teraphim'.) If there is more than one, please give them all.

Could it be in Stephen's speach in Acts 7:

"O ye house of Israel, have ye offered to me slain beasts and sacrifices by the space of forty years in the wilderness? 43 Yea, ye took up the tabernacle of Moloch, and the star of your god Remphan, figures which ye made to worship them: and I will carry you away beyond Babylon.
Acts 7:42-43 (KJV)"

Those are both good verses. I'm not sure if either was the one, though. I had thought it contained the name of only one god.
