I'm hoping you all can help me. While I am fairly new to my faith and am ever so greatful to the two small study groups I have found, I have found it very frustrating and to be honest sometimes overwhelming to have started my studing of the bible on the topic of endtimes, prophesy, and how what is going on in our world today all plays apart and comes together.(Not that I dont think that topic is important, I just dont think a new christian should begin at the end.)
I have very recently been made aware of the "Two houses of Ireal" I've stayed up all night and into this day reading on it and studing it and my understanding at this point, is that Jacob had 12 sons who became the twelve tribes/leaders of all Ireal. Later because of King Solomon there was a split. 10 tribes went north and 2 went south. And this is were i begin to get confused. My question is... The disciples were instructed to preach the gospel to the Jews and at some point Paul begins to preach to the gentiles. Were the gentiles the tribes that had broken off from the original 12 tribes? Sorry I hope I'm making sense.
