Revival and Church Unity - Cause and Effect

History shows very plainly that God sends this blessing [revival] even when the Church is divided...it blesses practically all the denominations, irrespective of their divisions, and for the time being brings them together in a marvelous unity. Martyn Lloyd-Jones argues that revival would be the cause to bring the effect of unity across denominations. By the same reasoning, it would also promote unity in combination with the many non-denominational, organic and house churches of today. Revival would shake up the status quo and so would be uncomfortable for many. O may it come!

Judgment begins at the household of God. Repentance begins at the household of God.

We may want them to begin these elsewhere but trying to begin them elsewhere is hypocrisy. Jesus spoke vehemently against hypocrisy.
