I ran across this from "Storm harvest"...a Christian prophetic site...and a fellow named Robert.BT

"Back in 2008 I brought a word titled "Of stars, signs and seasons" in which I outlined the coming revival in the Middle East and the Muslim world.

I just came across this YouTube video of an Al Jazeerah radio interview with Shiekh Ahmed al Katani and Maher Abdullah. In it the Shiekh outlines the fact that 100 million Muslims have converted to Christ in Northern Africa since 1902, and there are currently about 6 million a year converting. That's amazing!"

I am not real confident about these statistics, but am surely hopeful they are correct. I think about the red wave of blood flowing south in Africa that I've heard of, from a brutal and radical Islam that appears to be on the ascendancy.

If anyone has some other statistics or thoughts about Africa, and the ratio between Islamic and ?Christian conversions...it would be interesting to me....BT

Even if these statistics are not 100% accurate. It is still nice to know that enough are turning to Christ to cause to be looked at by the Muslim world. And then perhaps other Muslims to question their own faith. Thanks brother Tom.

Talking to a brother in Sudan, he said that the split in Sudan has actually caused some Muslims to be tired of the destruction their religion has had on the country, and then question their own beliefs. Quite amazing really. God is good.

Statistics about Moslem conversions to Christ are hard to verify due to the hostility of Islam toward Christians. I have heard reports of Jesus appearing in dreams and visions to Moslems all over the Middle East. This has resulted in many conversions. Voice of the Martyrs estimates that between 500 to 600 people a day are turning to Christ in Iran alone. This is enough to warrant the Iranian government to regard the house churches as a threat to Islam. While actual facts may be hard to verify we can praise God he is on the move in the ME. Let us pray the revival continue.
