Greetings brethren and sisters...

After a rather lengthy hiatus from SI I have returned with the blessings of those in charge. I have missed everyone tremendously and am excited to be back. I need the fellowship.

Please pray for my family and I as I have recently (last friday) been laid off. I've seen it coming for 2 years now, and it's finally here. I do have my insurance benefits for the next 3 months... but after that it's gone. The biggest dilema that creates is that I am an insulin dependent diabetic, and if you remember, I had a heart attack last July. So I am on some heart meds. The reality is I am in the best shape now than I have been in in 15 years... but I still need those meds to live.

So things are a bit "worrisome".

I'm glad to be back so that I can glean encouragement from all of you! I need it.

Hey Krispy! Good to have you back brother! I have been wondering what had happened to you.

I will be praying for you about your job situation and finances. God is faithful and He will supply all of your need according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.

I have been off of work for over a month now with some cracked ribs. Retirement is looking better all the time!

Thanks to everyone for the warm welcome back! I'm looking forward to renewing some old friendships and starting some new ones. I hope that the Lord has mellowed and humbled me enough to make my thoughts on His Word a little more palatable, but yet retained enough edge to sharpen some iron... mainly my own.
