Recommend the best sermon ever....

Hi there,

We have an opportunity to host our home church at our place this coming Sunday and we normally download a sermon. Since we are hosting we get to choose :)

I would love people here to recommend what is the best sermon they have ever heard.

The people are coming are more basic believers, one is possibly not born again & one is a maturer believer. So a real mix.

I don't know what type of time frame you have, but this is one of my favorites from Leonard Ravenhill. It's worth a listen even if you're not able to use it for your Sunday service.

I would love people here to recommend what is the best sermon they have ever heard.

This is my most recommended video, seriously I have given this in CD form, sent it in the email more than any other sermon. It's 35 minutes long and is a testimony of revival in one man's life. Listen to it yourself and see if the Holy Spirit moves you!

Go to Duncan Campbells page, and listen to his testimony on Revival in the Hebrides, there's a CD quality version.

Its so encouraging to hear this dear saint's wonderful Scottish brogue, telling us of the Power of God the Holy Ghost where He came down, and what happened.

hearing of a 16 year old boy, lil Donald MacPhail, called to pray by Duncan, because Duncan had the honesty in God, to know the lad was closer to God than him at that moment, and little Donald prays with tears, and God just swept into the room, with a manifestation of God the Holy Spirit, one only reads of in Scripture.

This site has lots of tremendous sermons, but "Ten Shekels and a Shirt" by Paris Reidhead (Recommended on the front page) has been the most helpful to me. So anointed. It is a message that establishes the foundation of Christianity better than any other sermon I've heard, though that's relatively few. It did shake me greatly and continues to. I know many others have the same testimony.

Thank you all for responding. Praise the Lord.
I guess we have lots of sermons to listen to b4 Sunday to pick and choose from.

I foresee the next couple of days will be a time of uncomfortableness for my flesh, and humbling myself before Jesus.

We live in the Cook Islands and so our internet sadly is not up to speed for allowing us to watch videos. But thank you again for sharing the link.
