Christian in Complete Armour

I've read a little of the modernized abridgment of this and enjoyed it immensely. However, I am a stickler for originals.
I've found several "versions" of it on amazon. Can anyone recommend one to buy? I'd like the original "old english" if possible. The closest one I found on amazon was this one: http://www.amazon.com/Christian-Complete-Armour-William-Gurnall/dp/159856885X/ref=pd_cp_b_3
But I don't know if it's "modernized" or not!

I have this edition from banner of truth-

It is unabridged, old english, two column format and features lots of calligraphy. It's the closest thing you can get to a facsimile.

Yes, the Banner of Truth edition is the one to get.

Though the spelling and grammar seem difficult, typical of 17th century prose, Gurnall's primary stylistic influence was the KJV. It's quite readable.

Amen. Thank you Brother for posting these links from ccel.

It was over 2 decades ago that David Wilkerson recommended we get these volumes and we hurried up and purchased them, but unfortunately, when I moved, I couldn't take all the books with me.

Last night I listened to "Ten Shekels And A Shirt" for the first time and now getting this book back is a second blessing within 12 hours. What a Blessing!

I have the Banner of Truth Trust version mentioned here, as well as a three-volume abridged version released by David Wilkerson (published by World Challenge under the custody of Banner of Truth). I have read them several times...and I am amazed at how timely they still are.
