Earthquake predictions & Amos 3:7

On another forum I view many members are from New Zealand.

When I saw this, I posted a link "Scientists warn of more quake danger in NZ"

A couple of them replied and one man posted details of the Australian Plate and the Pacific Plate. Then he posted a 2nd time

What really amazed me was most of what happened in Christchurch, was aired in a documentary in 1996. There is an 8 minute youtube about this, which can be seen at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NkTy6ogLDX8

When I read that and saw the video this Scripture came to mind,

Amos 3:7 Surely the Lord GOD will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets.

The Lord does reveal these things to men, and in this case it may even have been particular intervention. Like Balaam's ass or Caiaphas, the men he used did not even need to be born of the Spirit of God to be His servants as prophets, but they did serve a purpose. Some heeded the warning and fixed their buildings, others ignored and were destroyed.
