Can anyone share further on this topic. I am seeking to understand what it means to be "poor in spirit"?

the bible talk about abroken and contrite sprirt
this is what god is looking for as a scarfice offerd up to him
we pray in intersesion with a broken spirit
we ask for forgivness with a broken spirit
lot when seeing the wikkedness of sodom ,tormented his righeous soul from day to day ,this is also abroken spirit
when we see the this in our day we can aslo have a broken and poor spirit ,but god blesses thoses that morn , for they will be comferted
a poor spirit is also a sign of a child of god
along with godly jelously which go hand in hand
