Heresies And Some Truth's About The Lord's Harvest
Some ages ago God appeared and revealed HIS kindness to a steadfast and faithful soul called Abraham. It was because of HIS unreserved devotion to the will of God that God gave him a promise to bless all the nations of the earth through one of HIS seeds.
The seed is Christ as the scripture affirmed this in several places. Christ was a seed that fell on the Ground at Calvary to produce a harvest of of the same likeness of many seeds . He First appeared as a physical natural seed in HIS humanity and literally died, resurrected and ascended to appeared the second time in spirit to sow the spiritual seed, the spiritual birth of Christ within the hearts of men in order to produce the Image HE manifested in HIS earthly days in us, through the sowing of the seed (which is death in Christ), its resurrection (which is growth in the pure Life of Christ ) and the harvest of its fruits (which is the ascension , ultimate rest in Christ or the high calling ).
There is a lot of misconception of the harvest of the Lord in Christendom. To some the harvest is the end of the natural material world while to others it means preaching the Gospel to sinners. None of this view fully describe the scriptural teachings of the Lord harvest.
The preaching of the Gospel to sinners is the sowing of the seed (Christ) within there souls not the harvest . The seed of Christ within the soul will immediately bring an end of all external gross sins yet the tares will still be within to oppose the growth of the seed.
The end of the "world" in the harvest
"He answered and said unto them, He that soweth the good seed is the Son of man;
The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked [one]; The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels.
As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the end of this world." (Matthew 13v37-40)
In the parables from the scripture above ,we are told the sower went to sow the seed on the field and the field typify the world.
This is not the natural material world but the souls of men . The LORD work of sowing HIS spiritual spiritual seed is invincible to the material world. Our souls in our fallen state are evil and it is the place the enemy sow his seed in the fall and produce his children or seed (the tares) within the whole Adamic race.
First the LORD sow HIS seed in the beginning in the heart of Adam and Eve, and the enemy sow His seed or children too by tempting them to listen to his wicked counsel. Our souls are wicked in our fallen states because they are influence by the children or the seed of the wicked one, which is the tares in us .
The growth of the seed of Christ within our souls will build the image of Christ and brings and end of the nature of our fallen souls , which is the end of the old world within through the Lords harvest.
We are also told in one of the parables that, before the harvest the tares and the wheat were allowed to grow together (read Matthew 13v 24-30) .
The wheat typify the growing seed of Christ . The tares also signify the present of the body of sin while the harvest is the destruction of the body of sin. The Lord allow both the tares (self )and the wheat(the seed of Christ ) to grow together, because as the seed of Christ grows in us the more self (tares) become reveal in us. This is how we come to know difference between the tares(self) and the wheat (the growth of the seed of Christ ) .
However the ultimate will of God is not only to reveal to us the tares(self) within but to bring and end of them in the harvest of the fruits of the seed of Christ.
The Lord allows the enemy to tempts us in trials , temptation and adversity to show us how much of the tares still remain in us. Christianity without trials and adversity will only retard the growth of the seed of Christ in a false security because when the hidden tares (self) are not reveal men think they have arrive and so relax in a false liberty and end up falling because of carelessness.
Excuse me to use the personal testimony . A few month's after my conversion , I learn the scriptural Truth " Whosoever is born of God does not commit sin for HIS seed remaineth in him , and he cannot sin because he is born of God " . I strongly belief this with all my my heart and soul and taught it was fully fulfilled in me because I was not committing any known sin. I never knew there were tares of behaviors and actions I did which were not sinful according to my own judgment but were sinful according to the Judgment of the LORD. There were some hidden places within my soul were the seed was suppressed and remain barren with a free growth of the tares (self) because the barrenness was not reveal. These were areas within which were not born of God but I never knew about it.
One day we went to preach the gospel to sinners with a brother who was in the faith long before me. The brother was preaching and some subtle sinners asked him a very tempting question , which tempted him to lie. I was very suck , confuse because it contradict the scriptures which says "he that is born of God cannot sin ". I taught being born of God was a one way experienced of some initial salvation experience. I never knew there were tares (self) within the brother were the seed was not conceive to be born of God.
It was the trials which revealed that which was not submitted to the cross in his life. He was trying to escape the offense and shame of the cross by lying. The scripture is True it is man in his fallen state who is in lies , for Gods is always True and everyone who is not begotten of HIM is a liar.
During those earlier months of my initial conversion I learned Christians talk about the need of spending quality time in prayer to receive strength for purity and effective witnessing to sinners. These was another foolishness to me , because I just prayed about twenty minutes in a day and was still pure in my own natural measurement of the Holiness of Christ. As for witnessing to sinners I saw a few sinners weep with repentance in several occasions after preaching on the compounds or streets with a very short prayer life . So the need of quality time in prayer was what I did not just agree because the Lord by HIS mercy did not yet reveals the barrenness and the suppress seed within me .
It did not took a very long time before the Lord in HIS mercy allowed the enemy to oppose me in manifold trials and temptations , to help me see the tares (self) I never saw before and were the seed of Christ was suppress and barren. It was then the earth within me was opened to allow the growth of the seed , in the resurrection. I taught the door was open in all areas of my life not knowing HE was knocking for me to open the door.
It was during these period I started spending most of time time in quality prayer and occasional fasting because my self confidence and pride was being dealt with. It was the trial and temptations which brought a desire for intimacy and union with the Lord in me.
The Tragedy on the way to the Harvest
Books cannot contain the testimony of the Long suffering and mercy the LORD extends to HIS children in there growing into HIS harvest.
However the enemy works to pervert the mercy God manifest in the way to harvest so as to keep men under HIS power and for the seed to be barren , unfruitful and to destroy it its growth within the heart. While temptations and trials are allow by God for the purpose of creating a more desire of his nature and ways in the heart of his children , the enemy does whisper false doctrinal concepts to pervert the purpose of the mercy Gods manifest in us of failure in our trials and temptations.
The enemy sometimes works in two ways to remove our focus from the hope of the harvest : 1.he either condemn us in our sin or failure so that we will have no hope of receiving forgiveness or mercy from God. Or
11. he will make sin so light that we will be living in it without any desire for repentance or forsaking it because he has deceive us to feel justify though we are in sin.
Much of those horrible teaching which justify our sins be it “eternal security”, “our position in Christ “ etc comes from this perversion of Gods mercy. Our eternal security is in the growth of the seed (Christ ) not in its barren and unfruitful state.
Gods extend his mercy in our failure to bring us out of our failure to his victory not our failure. In the natural when farmers sow a seed on the ground , the purpose is to reap a harvest of the fruits of the seed sown. They will take great care of the plant and will be willing to spend a lot with patience. But Peradventure something negative happen and the plant cease growing with all the care given, they will sure cast it off or leave it to wither and die.This is the same principle the spiritual farmer does in his garden .
In the harvest there is a a final end of the tares or self within , through the destruction of the body of sin , at the last trump , which is the final gathering unto the Lord to remain with him not temporally but forever in the air of heavenly places.
A work hidden to carnal men as the natural air is invincible to the natural man, not an event to come but a present reality ready to manifest in us with conditions, and unchanging principles.
In the natural marriage under the Law of God should be without divorce no matter the circumstances and challenges. The same reality is in the spiritual marriage , the harvest . When the bride reach the flower of her age in the harvest, then comes the bridegroom to take her as a wife . This is complete sanctification unto the Lord, the ascension.
No more war but true peace because all the tares( self ) are uprooted which is the destruction of the body of sin . In the union the bride will learn the art of waiting upon the Lord in unceasing prayers at all times :
in ceasing or out of season, in temptations or days of strength, in sorrow or joy , in fulfillment or disappointment, in acceptance or rejection, in confirmation or being misunderstood , in revelations or periods of cessations etc.
Do not say there are yet four months for the harvest to come . lay aside those dispensation teachings which will extend the work of the Cross to some future to come , crying peace peace to your soul while there is no peace but war , and the tares (self) suppressing the seed and making it barren and unfruitful.
That is a path to hell fire be not deceive . You might not believe this, because you are deceive by your those right head doctrines in your head, which is not different from the faith of the devil who will tremble that there is a God yet will never leave sin..
"Jesus saith unto them, My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work.
Say not ye, There are yet four months, and [then] cometh harvest? behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest. And he that reapeth receiveth wages, and gathereth fruit unto life eternal: that both he that soweth and he that reapeth may rejoice together. And herein is that saying true, One soweth, and another reapeth. I sent you to reap that whereon ye bestowed no labour: other men laboured, and ye are entered into their labours." (John 4v34-38)
Christ is the seed , sower , laborer and the harvester . All is His work, not ours. He have send us to reap were we bestow no labor, for he did it all. Our own labor which is working in our understanding, imaginations or emotions will only hinder the work. Ours is just to reap and partake the fruits of His Work as we cease from a self directive life to a spirit directive life; through spiritual exercise like prayers and occasional fasting and being separate from the love of the world with it rotten customs and fashion
.Except we cease from our labor, the work will cease and tares will suppress the growth of His seed in us.
Blessed are those that die in the Lord through the sowing of the seed (death) that the works of the resurrected seed (Christ) might follow them.
"And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed [are] the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them." (Revelation 14v13).
Thou righteous Judge , the seed, sower, laborer and harvester,
Thou are justify and righteous in all thy works.
When thou worketh who can hinder thy work ?
Thou stilleth the hands of all flesh that thy glory might
be manifested in the flesh as it was in the beginning
that thou might receive its due praise and honor for it
is thine and only thine.
Oh ye earth open up again to receive the incorruptible seed.
How long shall the seed remain barren and unfruitful because thou
refuse the pruning process of the grown plant during the adverse
weather conditions.
The harvest , the Harvest , no mixture is the purpose of the seed , nothing less than that " says the farmer.
"And I looked, and behold a white cloud, and upon the cloud [one] sat like unto the Son of man, having on his head a golden crown, and in his hand a sharp sickle.
And another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to him that sat on the cloud, Thrust in thy sickle, and reap: for the time is come for thee to reap; for the harvest of the earth is ripe.
And he that sat on the cloud thrust in his sickle on the earth; and the earth was reaped.
And another angel came out of the temple which is in heaven, he also having a sharp sickle.
And another angel came out from the altar, which had power over fire; and cried with a loud cry to him that had the sharp sickle, saying, Thrust in thy sharp sickle, and gather the clusters of the vine of the earth; for her grapes are fully ripe." (Revelations 14 v 14-18).
