When a child is fearful, his mother takes him in her arms and keeps him from seeing whatever is making him afraid. The Father in heaven will do the same for us. In times of trouble He will shelter us, covering our eyes and taking us in His arms so that we hardly see anything of the horrors. Enfolded in love, we will have only a sense of security. His presence will be a protective wall around us. He will carry us through.
