Beverly Carradine, an itinerant preacher of the holiness era, wrote a couple of books that showcased his creative writing style. I likened him to a Mark Twain, if Mark had carried a Bible. "Pastoral Sketches" and "Revival Incidents" both give a glimpse into the lifestyle and environment of the holiness era during the late 19th and early 20th century.
