This is a powerful statement. Oh may we heed it by God's grace.
We are too proud for that. We do not want to admit that we are wrong. We do not want to admit that we need to repent. We are more concerned about our appearance, and about winning an argument.
May God break us. That is the only way. I don't care for excitement; that's not why I want revival. I want revival so that God might cleanse us from all the filth that we have become engrossed in. Amazing to see how God convicts people when revival comes. These are the very worldly things that people want to justify.
Holy Spirit, bring forth our evil deeds into Your light! And humble us anew, so that Your people might rejoice IN YOU!
