Almighty God of the universe, we come before Thee in intercession for this individual who is in need right now. Put a hedge over the operation, guide the doctors, soothe the family and make them strong and sure in the Lord.

I've set my "calendar" to let me know when noon Eastern time is so I can stop what I'm doing and pray as he is wheeled into the operating room. Others who can set their calendar, join with me in that at noon, July 5th.

This is a very good idea Vic, about setting up a notice to oneself somewhere of the time of the surgery.
