Aortic Valve Replacement Results

Thank you for your dilligent prayers! All went well. Here is a note from a family member:

Dear Friends,

I am happy to let you know that my father’s heart valve replacement surgery went well. His aortic valve has been replaced with a new valve made of pure carbon, called an “On-X” valve. He is in the Intensive Care Unit right now so we have not been able to see him, but the surgeon said the operation went perfectly and they expect a full recovery.

Please continue to pray for my dad. One big problem people with this surgery can have is blood clots, so please pray he won’t have any clots, and that his recovery will go well. He will probably be in the ICU for the next 24 hours, and then he will be moved to a normal room where we can visit.

Please also continue to pray because it is a long recovery ahead, with around 6 weeks before he will be able to move and work normally.

Before the surgery my dad said he was very touched by how much love has been shown towards him by Christians all around the world. There are many people praying fervently for him and he said he has never appreciated the Body of Christ as much as at this time.

Thank you for being part of this great blessing that our whole family feels.

We appreciate it and we thank the Lord for you all.

Just clarifying. This was not my father. I published a note from a family member regarding the operation. It was his father. But, of course, I'll take the prayers for my whole family. I can always use them. God bless.
