Prayer for my grandma

V

Hi all,

My grandma Vera has cancer on the outside the outside of her lungs and possibly her liver. They could do surgery on the lung but they would have to remove 3/4 of her right lung (I think...) and we don't really know about her liver yet. They will find out today.
I ask that you please pray for her healing, she's 84.

HOWEVER
the more pressing matter is that she is not saved. She is my dad's mother and none of his family (including himself) is saved. My mom tried to talk to grandma about Christianity but she just ignored her, either by going silent or by changing the topic. So please pray for her salvation as well as the rest of the family.
I have an incredible burden to share the gospel with her and have no idea how to. They live about 3 hours away so we don't see them often. I have thought about writing a letter to her telling her about the gospel. What do you guys think?

Thank you all for your prayers.
In Christ,
Veronica

What special love you have for your grandma, Veronica! It seems often that God allows these hard things to get someone's attention. I have been in the same position you are in with different family members, including my own mother who has "forbidden us to talk to her about this again" (salvation). I think a letter is a good idea as she has already ignored your mother and changed the subject - a letter is something that may be read over and over. Also she isn't faced with having to give a response to a person. The fact that you took the time to write may speak volumes to her.

I pray that God will indeed save her soul, and also your other family members. One thing you might pray for if she is closed to family, is that God would send someone to witness to her thru the hospital or medical things she needs to undergo. May God hear the prayers and cry of your heart!

If you can't go, Veronica, write her a letter.
Ask God to show you what to write.
I wrote to my Brother, and he got saved, before he died.
May God save your Grandmother.
God Bless you, and give you His Strength.
Nellie
