Psalm 83:9-12

You turn things upside down! Shall the potter be regarded as the clay?
Shall the thing made say of its maker, "He did not make me"; or the
thing formed say of the one who formed it, "He has no understanding"?

Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will exalt you. James 4:10
In humility we come before you, dear Lord Jesus, asking you to help us
to love mercy, to do justice, and to walk humbly with you, our Lord who
exemplifies humility. Amen.
