This Saturday I went out door knocking with my Church. Due to a number of factors, we were only able to knock for about 30-45 minutes. We knocked on about 10 different doors in the neighborhood behind our church. At the last house we knocked on, we simply asked the owner if he had a couple minutes, if we could share the gospel with him and invite him to our church. He invited us into his home, and for about 15 minutes we shared the gospel with him. I was really amazed to learn that there are people in North Carolina, which is Bible-Belt USA... and in the country of all places, who have NO (ZIP, NONE, ZILCH, NADA, ZERO), knowledge whatsoever of the gospel. The man we talked to didn't even know that Jesus died or came back to life, and he was at least in his 40's, perhaps even 50's. That really seems amazing to me.So, I'd encourage you folks out there to share the gospel, even if just in its very basics, to as many as you can.
