BTW, Greg, I noticed that the PM button hasn't been working since last night. Sometimes, I write a post and, instead of immediately posting it, I send it to myself via PM. However, I couldn't do that last night.
Is this just a temporary thing?

i have not had any problems except for download delays
one time. . .
just before you posted that there might be a problem with download delays for a bit of time.
Usually using DSL, downloads, even when slow are fast enough not even to note significant differences.
Satellite can be slow or fast depending on the atmosphere and/or your locale' when online. . .like, for example, you park a car in front of the transmission/reception dish.
Landlines have been the slowest for me.
Using networks vary, and at times these have left blank spots where bits and pieces of messages downloaded are missing altogether. Some public networks have regular timed sychronized stop/start routers that sounds like static at every four or five second intervals on messages downloaded.
