Evolution, True or False?

M

After reading and listening to Ray Comfort, I thought I'd write my thoughts. Point 1:\tIn 1912, Charles Dawson found what would be later called Piltdown Man. It was a human skull and an apelike jaw. Experts said it to be estimated at 300,000 to one million years old. This seemed to prove Darwin’s theory of evolution, but in 1953, Piltdown was proved to be a hoax. The skull was a 600-year-old year old woman and the jaw was a 500-year-old orangutan from the East Indies (Turner Publishing, 1995, pg. 94). So, the fact of carbon dating comes to question. In Times Magazine, June 11, 1990, it said that, “Geologists show that carbon dating can be way off.” “Evolution is a fairy tale for grown-ups” (Dr. Tahmisian, Atomic Energy Commission USA). He believed evolutionist to be great con men and a hoax. Even with evolution, you have to have faith. You have to believe what others have said about it. It is like you putting on another man’s glasses. You are looking through the eyes of someone else. You should prove it for yourself. Do not let that be your scapegoat, look through your own glasses, not another mans understanding.Point 2:\tNow lets refer to the subject of the Big Bang theory. Lets just for a moment think of the explosion that had to take place in order for evolution to happen. When the terrorist used the planes at the Twin-Towers as bombs, when they hit the buildings, they acted as bombs. So what happened?… It actually caused extreme chaos, not harmony. That same event of chaos would be in comparison to the bang that started the entire human race. Again, that is according to another man’s theory or yet again, putting on another man’s glasses instead of rescreaching it for yourself. I know that most just believe in faith that the Big Bang theory started humanity. So, I ask you how could that explosion have produced plants, planets, animals, and humans. They are so complex with very different characteristics. I mean take the plant and animal, it has it’s own roots while each animal has their own DNA. I will now attempt to prove the Big Bang theory. First, you must empty out your garage. Next, you must buy everything needed to make a new BMW. You’ll need metal, fiberglass, rubber, wires, makings of an engine, tires, axle, etc. We must cause an explosion then wait 20 years to see if the car came together. If that doesn’t work, we will try waiting 50 years. If that doesn’t work, we will try 100 and then 1,000 and maybe even a million years. That is the kind of faith needed to prove the Big Bang theory. It’s absolutely blind faith.Point 3:\tThe main problem with evolution is the fact that there is both male and female. In all forms of animals and humans there is a need to reproduce in order for one to carry out life. First, what came first, the male or female according to the evolution of the sexes? If we believe male and female evolved over long periods of time, than what made evolution change its initial plan and require the necessity of having both male and female. Just like today, it is a dog eat dog world, and more reproducing would have created more mouths to feed. Also, what made them want to reproduce in the first place? What about, did the fish crawl onto dry land with lungs or gills? With gills, he would have grasped for air then died. The other option is to say the fish had lungs. If so, how did the lungs evolve in the sea without the fish drowning? “Evolution is unproved and unprovable” (Sir Arthur Keith, wrote the forward to the 100th edition of, Origin of the Species). Point 4:\tNow here is the issue that most will hold to, “OK, yeah, you proved that evolution and its believability can certainly be proved wrong, but you never proved that a god or even that your Christian God exist.” So, I will address the core of my beliefs that God does in fact exist. First, it’s only by faith. Human reasoning cannot prove God into existence. Just as you don’t need to have proven to you that if there is a building, there is a builder. If there is a painting, there is a painter. The building and the painting are proof alone that they exist. A simple-minded child can understand this logic. Just as if I placed leaves in a certain order like crosses, down a path you walked, you would know that someone intervened and placed them that way. It just didn’t happen by chance. Second, just because you don’t believe there is a God, doesn’t mean he doesn’t exist. By stating, “I believe that if I jumped out of a plane gravity wouldn’t take its toll and send me crashing to the ground.” That statement doesn’t make your assumption true. If you indeed believe that jumping out of a plane that nothing bad will happen to you, then if I’m ordained by than, I’ll preach your funeral for free. You can’t simply believe God out of existence. Use your God given senses.Point 5:\tLastly, if God is real than we have a problem. By our Christian theory, everyone who doesn’t have Christ in his or her lives will be going to hell. So, dealing with that fact, if there is even a possibility that God is real and said he will judge the world in righteousness, than you owe it to your good senses to put on your own glasses and find it out for yourself. If God is not real then according to you, I will just go back to the ground where there will be no torture and no separation form God. But if I am right, you will be in a devil’s hell separated from the loving God that was trying to say your soul. The ball is on your court now. To be wrong here, there will be no turning back when you stand before God and he says that he never knew you, and you are in hell.Point 6:Good questions to ask:\tWhich evolved first (how, and how long, did it work without the others)?A) The digestive system, the food to be digested, the appetite, the ability to find and eat the food, the digestive juices, or the body’s resistance to its own digestive juice (stomach, intestines, etc.)?B) The lungs, the mucus lining to protect mixture of gases to be breathed into the lungs?C) DNA or RNA to carry the DNA message to cell parts?D) The plants or the insects that live on and pollinate the plants?E) The bones, ligaments, tendons, blood supply, or muscles to move the bones?F) The immune system or the need for it?
