Praying for him and the family.
Oh my! Lord have MERCY!!! Praying....pls keep us updated...
will pray for Miles.......Keep us posted
We are back from the hospital. They are keeping the child sedated. A one point the nurse was inserting a tube and Miles was moving around so the nurse called his name and he opened his eyes. They quickly sedated him again to keep brain activity as low as possible. Next 24 hours will be a critical time as the body reacts to the stress it has been through. They feel there will be some brain damage but uncertain how much. Could be minor or severe. Parents are holding up well so far with lots of support from family and friends. Thanks for caring. Travis
Well that sounds like at least some good news. Praise the Lord. Will continue to pray....Thank you for updating...
Praying
Praying as well. Christ have mercy on this child & family.
While being suctioned out this morning Miles made it known that he didn't like it one bit, even pulling at the tubes. Praising God for the signs of life we see. The best estimate at this point is that he could have been under the water up to 10 min and they did cpr on him 10 min till he took his own breath. At this point vitals appear good. Trusting God for further progress. It is a miracle that he his alive. Praise the Lord! Travis
Thank you Jesus! Had a real strong peace after praying for Miles.
Glad he's getting better.
WOW! Praise God! Will continue to pray!
Please pray for the mother. She is starting to deal with fear and anxiety. She was at the pond and helped do cpr on Miles. Also Miles' siblings who saw the whole thing.
Praise God! Text from a family member of Miles:
"Just left hospital. Miracles still happen! They feel swelling is not a danger and that brain damage is not a real concern! Pray for lungs to clear & heal."
We serve an awesome God! We will trust Him for complete healing. Thank-you Lord!
Travis
Bless The LORD!!
Amen, pray against pneumonia, in Jesus' Name.
Bless GOD!
Thank you Travis!
Praise God.....He is a Mighty God. So faithful.
Thank you Jesus! Will continue to pray! And we must remember that "God is so good" even when He says no.....Pls tell the mother we are praying! And thank you for the faithful updates - it makes praying so much easier...
WOW!! Now that is a miracle!
Any updates on Miles?
As of 6:00 this evening Miles was moved out of ICU into a standard room. It looks like he will be discharged less than a week after the incident. There are several things that should have happened that didn't.
First, the doctors expected the brain to swell and possibly shut his body down the first night. There was never evidence of swelling. Second, they expected some level of brain damage. At this point there is no evidence of brain damage at all. The thing that they dealt with the most was getting the pond water cleaned out of the lungs.
At this point there is a possibility that he will go home Sunday evening but if not then Monday. I would give a conservative estimate that there was 2500 people + who were praying for this situation. Our God is Awesome.
