Hello there all. Though I am not very confident that many people will see this particular thread (because there are so many who come to this site!) yet I will take the liberty to introduce myself.
My name is Matthew Maxwell-Carr. I am a Christian and have been since summer 2008. I began seeking the faith in 2007. I joined the Wales Evangelical School of Theology (WEST) in September 2008 to learn more about the Bible. I struggled greatly to begin with (mostly because of the Calvinism and Reformed Theology!) but I got used to it in my second year. Since almost all of my Christian life has been in a Bible college, I have been granted a wonderful grounding in the faith. My two desires for serving God with my life are these, in order: to soon marry my fiancee and be a good husband; and then to be a good, word-centred, Christ-centred pastor of a people, somewhere.
I came across sermonindex in my first year and it just had the most radical impact on me. I began my Christian walk hearing the likes of Ravenhill and Paul Washer! Yes! Praise the Lord.
