A Swan from Norway says 'Hi'

Hello there!

I'm a 21 year old male from Norway, so you'll have to excuse my English a bit.

Since 2008, and still going, I've been following Jesus and been eager to learn about doctrine and theology. My starting preacher was Zac Poonen, and later on it's been quite a few teachers, mostly David Pawson and Paul Washer.

I'm a little hesitant to call myself new to these forums, since I've been reading topics and listened to sermons from this website for perhaps 1-2 years. I don't know how I got here in the first place, but I'm glad I came.

My intention with starting to write here is to seek wisdom and edification. I want to reply to topics and make my own articles in order to...

- Glorify God by being able to formulate the teachings of the Bible better.
- Receive advice and encouragement
- Answer non-believers with a secure foundation
- Build the Body of Christ with sound doctrine from the Bible since that is where our works have their motives.

I believe this is a great place to do this since this is a small fellowship of believers that have many who are particularly interested in doctrine aswell.

Hi Svane,

Good to have you on here and great to hear you have become a follower of Jesus since 2008. I live in the UK, but often travel to Norway on business, so great to know the Lord is active there. What part of Norway are you in? Do you have a good local church to be part of?

I have had a few occasions to share the gospel with some Norwegians, mainly on the plane when the opportunity arose.
I'm a bit older than you (I have a 21 year old son).

I lived in Norway for some time and fellowshiped with a church that has a lot of appreciation for the preaching of the gospel from brother Zac Poonen, he has visited this church and others in Norway for many years.
