Anyone, then, who knows the right thing to do and fails to do it,
commits sin. James 4:17
O God, open our eyes to see the needs of others. Open our hearts to feel
their anguish and joy. Let us not be afraid to defend the oppressed,
poor, or powerless because of the anger and might of the powerful. Show
us where love, hope, and faith are needed, and use us to bring them to
those places. Amen.
