Robert Wurtz (moderator) Kidney Stone please pray

sermonindex Aug 16, 2011

from facebook:
Just made it home from the ER. Would appreciate any prayers to go up. Battling another kidney stone. I think this is #5 or 6. I'm thankful it has been a long time since the last one.

--

I appreciate all the prayers. The episode came on me early in the evening all at once. But I thank God that it is not as severe as the last one. Last time it was so bad only morphine would help. No oral med could touch the pain. Not this time. Thank God for that. I just have to get through this with lots of water and pain management. Much love to you all.

Am praying, Brother Robert.

If you can bear it ... 1/2 cup of olive oil - drink it down and then a 1/2 cup of lemon juice, do the same. Repeat as necessary.

I did it for gall stones and prevented surgery :)

I know - "Yuck!" - but as awful as it sounds, it's not as bad as it sounds.

Praying nonetheless.

GOD touch you, in His Precious Name.

Oooo... had that one time... not fun. The pain far exceeded that of my heart attack!

Not slamming anyone, but everybody has advice on how to deal with a kidney stone. Most are "old wives tales" that dont really work.

Brother Robert,
He won't let you suffer this pain any longer than you can bear.
God will make a way for you to escape, according to 1 Cor. 10:13. I've never had kidney stones, but I heard a Dr say that he didn't believe people who were hurting with them really hurt that bad, that they just wanted pain medication.
Then he got them, and never questioned it again.
He still heals.
He is able to Divinely heal you.
God Bless

Kidney stones is the worst pain I have ever gone through in my life and I have given birth to five children and had gall stones. There is no relief once the stone blocks the kidney its just non stop pain...prayerfully God will heal Robert very soon.

God Bless

I've banged up and torn up my body a LOT over the years... and survived a heart attack last summer...

...but NOTHING compared to kidney stones. So much so that I was vomitting. One time I had a KS attack and had to hike 2 miles back to my truck to drive myself home. I think I threw up 3 times on that "hike". It was aweful. Funny thing is I got home and popped some super strong pain killers that will knock me out for a day... as soon as I took them I could literally feel the stone move... to a more comfortable spot... and the pain vanished. But too late, already took the pain killer. A whole day shot! Slept like a baby.

While I would never wish kidney stones on anyone, I'm kinda glad that doctor got them. Hopefully now he is a little more sympathetic.

Thanks so my dear friends for the prayers during this time. I can feel the hand of the Lord carrying me through this. If not, I would not be able to type this. But God be thanked that He has show mercy to me and given me strength. I have a ways to go yet, but I am not in nearly as much pain as in the past. I have not had to take morphine or any other type medication. I have not had to scald my body with hot showers, lay in a hospital bed, or anything else. For that I am truly thankful. I must give thanks where it is do as the hand of this thing could have brought me to the bottom. Thanks again beloved for the prayers.
