Praying...will you join me?

May we please come together now as Gods people and pray for those being affected by this storm in the Atlantic as well as beginning praying for those who may yet be in its path. I have read that "Irene" is now a hurricane and there is talk of it strengthening. I know there are many who live in the South eastern part of the country where this storm is expected to hit by Friday.

Yes, Creation7. There is a storm named "Irene" in the Atlantic that meteorologists expect to be a Category 3 hurricane by Friday. Weather forecasts show that this will likely hit between Florida, Georgia and South Carolina and affect a section of the Mid Atlantic states by the weekend.

Hey wanted to say thanks for those of you who are praying with me. "Irene" is now tracking toward NC and they are saying she will be a very strong category 3 hurricane when she hits. Of course this still could change as the week progresses. I know that there are some SI members who live in NC, I pray this storm will pass all unharmed and head back out to sea. God is in control!!

It's supposed to flood my town...I live up on a hill, though.
I'm thankful for the rain, at least! It's extremely dry here.

I pray that God would have mercy on the souls whose way it is coming.

There are many lives being impacted by this Hurricane as it makes it way closer toward the US. I am praying for all those who have gone through this storm and those who still will be. Please pray...
