Strange, I was under the distinct understanding that as a believer this is my standing in the world.
"Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness' sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven."(Mat.5:10) followed by verses 11 & 12,"Blessed are you when they revile and persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely for My sake. Rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you." (NKJ)
Grab a good dose of I Peter 4, paying attention to verses 12 - 19.
Since we are bought with the precious blood of Jesus, and we are not our own, cannot our God have His way with us as He chooses? Does the clay say to the potter, why have you made me thus?
It's time for us to grow up in the Lord.
