Accidental healing

A couple of weeks ago my wife and I were at a church and asked how many people were spirit filled or spoke in tongues. After we prayed for many people a little girl came up and said that she was very sick before she got prayed for but was better now.

Praise the Lord, it is he who does the healing, I have been told that a renewed body comes from a renewed mind, not sure of the scriptural support for this however as I have polycystic kidney disease at an advanced stage it opens the discussion whether healing is our right or if the cross in our life is allowed to be in all areas of our life and it is his will or healing is in his timing.

I realise that there is many views on the subject of healing, my encouragement to all is to "giveitago". It may not be your gifting however you will never never know if you never never try. Not withstanding the Lord honours faith.

I agree with Martyr, but don't take it from us, get in the Word, and you will clearly see by the illumination of the Spirit that God's will is that you would prosper and be in health even as your soul prospers.

There are a lot of good brothers that are teaching that healing and the gifts have passed away, but I don't know where they find that in the bible.

I thank God that I never did question whether or not God is still healing today because I was healed of a stomach condition through a word of knowledge and the laying on of hands as a young believer. I could give you many personal testimonies of God's healing power being manifested.

I would believe God for the healing of your kidney. Do what the Word instructs us to do. Call for the elders of the Church and let them anoint you with oil in the name of the Lord. Put your faith in the Word of God, not in the opinions of men. Even if you can't find an elder, surely you can find a believer to lay hands on you, because it is the privledge of every believer to lay hands on the sick and belive for them to be healed and make a total recovery.

Praise God that Jesus Christ was manifested to destroy the works of the devil.
