Is it "The Last Time?"

Nearly every one of the New Testament writers warn their intended readers about a time of falling away and great deception that is to come. Through the words they write, it is clear that this time will be a time of great deception in which many who are in Christ will fall way from their devotion to God and give heed to the false prophets who will abound during this time. Through the warnings provided in the New Testament, it is clear that this will be a time of great darkness.

Now, an important question to ask is this: is this a season that has yet to start, or is this a season that has already began. This is an important question because of the serious consequences it could have. You see? If we can conclude that this time of falling away and deception has not yet begun, then it is possible that the things we have been taught and believe are good and true. But on the other hand, if it can be definitely established that we have been living our lives during the time of darkness and deception foretold by the New Testament writers, then we have to pause and ask ourselves whether or not it is possible that everything we have been taught is false. If it can be definitely established that we are living in the day of darkness and deception, then we each have to ask ourselves whether or not it possible that maybe we too are deceived.

I realize that this world is full of things to grab your attention. I realize that the last thing you want to do is read something that on the surface appears quite dull. However, if you will be honest with yourself, you will have to admit that this is a pretty important issue. After all, is it not an issue with eternal consequences? Because of the importance of this issue, I hope you will at least make a reasonable attempt to read this writing that you now have before you.

My question to you woukd be do you have consistant intake of the word of Giod ? Are you reading and meditating on the scriptures? How much time do you spend in the word and prayer?

If you are walking in constant fellowship with Jesus you do not need to be worried about deception. Sorry that my answer is not theological but more practical.

Most definitely the beginning of those days.

I'm not dispensationalist, but the generation that saw Israel renamed Israel is that generation.

Next week the UN's and the Clinton Global Initiative's Annual meeting's dates overlap, as they have since 2005, so that many will attend both meetings as usual, in Manhattan. Netanyahu will be speaking to the UN [the entity that runs this entire globe and holds Israel in their hands] on Wednesday and returning to Israel the 24th.
These meetings should be of some interest to us, as they discuss Israel, dividing the land and the Middle East and the role of the U.S..

Time is short before things will hit the free world and all one can say is, if there's any doubt about the days that we're living in - just wait. But maybe in the meantime we could read 2 Peter 3 - 2 Thess 2 - 2 Tim 3, together.
The BBC reported last night that Europe and the U.S. are headed downward financially and that the U.S. could barely be called a super-power anymore. And all of this is just a small fragment of current events.
Many are falling away from the faith, iniquity abounds, counterfeit signs & wonders increasing with the false prophets and teachers that Jesus warned us of and famines, diseases and the persecution in many nations is spreading. So many just playing church.
Regarding Jesus' words and the timetable He left us - all that's left is for the son of perdition to be revealed.
The foolish virgins didn't purchase enough oil while they could have, and ask those who did for some of theirs, because of the days of darkness that precede the Brightness of His appearing. Thinking of the need to trim wicks as well, [I learned that during our last power outage] and pray that the Master of the vineyard will have mercy; for even some with understanding will fall to try and purge them [Dan 11:35], but if we judge ourselves, we won't be judged. [1Corth 11:31,32]
