To you, O Lord, I lift up my soul. O my God, in you I trust; do not let
me be put to shame. Psalm 25:1-2
Blessed is anyone who endures temptation. Such a one has stood the test
and will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those
who love him. James 1:12
Most loving Lord and God, receive our souls which we lift up to you.
Guard the trust that we place in you. Help us to endure temptation so we
can receive your crown of life. Amen.
