My speech changed instantly upon conversion. Old things paased away, all things became new! that is upon having a good conscience toward God. Can i ask ever so politely ( and to use your word) why did it take so "loonnng" for God to clean up your speech? May i ask? Just Curious?

Allow me to go further. Jews under Law, and knowing the Law, And without the power of the cross or the power of the holy ghost didn't have (major) issues with cussing, dirty speech, dirty languuge, vulgar talk, Etc. Yes even under law! And those found guilty of blaspheming God ( under law) faced the judges - and could be stoned under law (worthy of death) So therefore Christians with the the HOLY Ghost should be all the more... advantaged being cleansed "with-in" BOOM BOOM

I actually don't buy that argument! Sorry. But i just don't buy it krisp. Im not asking for perfection. But cussing went really really really quick with me. It just did .... maybe the fear of God kicked in quick with me too...

So does gambling, fornication, alcohol abuse, smoking take time too? or do you Know Upon conversion ...certain things are (automatically wrong) considering yes you are just a "babe in Christ. But yes ... a babe with a conscience TOWARD GOD (NOW)? fair question. No?

And Not that i was "holier-than-thou" Krisp, but i got to say - that i personally hated being around them that cussed and used vulgar speech. (period/full stop) that was the way i instantly felt and furthermore i wanted to remove myself away from it as far as i possibly could (YUK) (yuk) (yuk)

Don'y worry krisp i haven't!!! okay i haven't. But i think the new testament Christian has advantages that even the old testament (Jews) didn't have. And He is called the Holy ghost. Dissect it anyway you want. But I would say the comforter within is a huge advantage! Don't you?

I guess that's where we might differ in belief persuasion. Old nature or New nature... ( as a born again christian) yes?no?

Let me say this also krisp! And being someone that has done the hard yards. I.e Street witnessing for years and years and getting down in the gutters with people hurting ( And with no direction in life ) Etc So i am no arm chair advice giver at this point! But people transformed granted might have an occasional slip-of-the-tongue. Okay granted, okay! But languague puncuated and proliferated with the constant "f" word (etc) ....Yeah sorry. But i have an issue with that. I do!!

All's im gonna say is ... 2nd natures ...become new natures in christ (i thought) you are saying (teaching) there is a delay process - whilst we catch up. But that seems to contradict the term (conversion) or am i missing something here? please explain?

This actually raises another very interesting question: Oh you say? Well if one is born again by the spirit of God and has absolutely No knowledge of doctrine or scripture whatsoever .... doesn't he or she still(know) somethings are right and wrong? and isn't the whole point of water baptism a public acknowlgement that - that old man is both dead and buried? i.e Roman chapter six? correct me if im wrong - someone please? Where is understanding on these issues? and happy to be told i am wrong if this is the case. As i am here to learn.! sincerely, son of thunder...

Can i ask, When you were still cussing as a christian how did that make you feel? remorseful? did you loathe it? did your conscience burn? did your conscience give you no rest? Did you say wait a minute these "f" words are just wroonnngggg?
