I just recently got a new Bible as a gift. it is a nasb version and was just wondering what people thought about it. i have noticed that it is worded nice, but i have seen a few places it left out some important sentences. just curious about your thoughts. ive always had kjv and used it. i dont like niv.
It's a good translation, and it's my main. As this topic will always flare up debate, if you're sincerely curious about the "missing sentences" and you yourself are actually not looking to stir up a debate, I would suggest the book "The King James Only Controversy" by James R. White. It will address the issue better that 99% of the posts you're bound to get on here.
There are copies on Amazon for less than $7 US. I'd say it's worth the money/read.
