knowing that HE loves me knowing that HIS attention to every detail in my life is constant and that through HIS care all that is not of HIM shall be stripped away is very comforting to me just now.

The work of God's true Love in our hearts is as beautiful as it is thorough. It will admit of no rival, no... not even one.
As we follow Christ through thick and thin, what a consolation it is to know that,
"...the trial of [our] faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:
Whom having not seen, [we] love; in whom, though now [we] see him not, yet believing, [we] rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory!" I Peter 1:7-8
