turn your dancing into mourning...

I tremble at saying "here is a word from the Lord" as I am a person of unclean lips and I live in the midst of a people of unclean lips but...as I was listening to this morning's message on the fear of the Lord, I felt compelled to share it. I received this from the Holy Spirit a few years back and wrote it down, put it in my bible but never shared it.

Turn you dancing into mourning for the kingdom of God is at hand. Repent in sackcloth and ashes, fast and mourn. Turn your heart to the Lord. Rend your heart and not your garments. Repent inwardly, not outwardly. The time of the prophets of old is imminent. The eyes of Lord look throughout the earth to find His faithful. Call them out, O Lord, that your wrath may be poured out upon the unrighteous, the seekers of self, the seekers of pleasure. O turn, turn to the Lord while little time remains. Turn from the wrath to come. I call out a people for my name, a remnant people, full of grace, mercy and truth, meek, humble and gentle. I know them by name. They are mine and I am theirs.

Certainly a remnant brother, who weep and mourn at the condition of the " church." They have encountered the Lord and they love what He loves, and they ever desire to do His will, not by compunction, but by desire that flows from a heart that loves.

" Dearly beloved, I beseech you as strangers and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts which war against the soul." 1Pet 2:11

Peter beseeches, he does not " command." Can one be commanded to love? If indeed we are strangers and pilgrims we will follow the Lord...........brother Frank
