Your personal experience makes you an expert witness

The letter’s power didn’t come from its one line of words: “Stop preaching to Muslims.” Its delivery method made the greater impact; it was attached to the bloody body of a Bible college student named Sheraz. The letter and Sheraz’s body were dumped at the front gate of his church near Lahore, Pakistan.

Sheraz hadn’t followed the letter’s advice. He had preached everywhere he went about the love of a Savior who had died for his sins. He had preached to the workers at the factory where he worked, to his Bible school, and to his own family.
A week earlier, Sheraz was working at the factory to support his parents and three sisters when he got into a discussion with some Muslim coworkers. They became angry, and other workers reported a heated argument. That was the last time anyone saw Sheraz alive.
Sheraz had known the risk. Many others in Pakistan had been killed for sharing their faith. Others had been accused of blasphemy and locked away in prison. But the gospel message was too good, and Sheraz just couldn’t keep it to himself.
The members of his church wouldn’t take the letter’s advice either. They continued to preach to Muslims, offering Jesus’ love to those enslaved by the hatred and fear of Islam. They, too, knew the risks, but they have continued and will continue, even if they must follow Sheraz’s example.

The most effective witness is a sincere one. We don’t have to memorize the theological significance of the atonement to tell others that Jesus makes a difference in our lives. All Jesus asks is that we testify to what we have seen and heard with our own eyes and ears. Our personal experience is the most powerful argument for faith in Jesus Christ. No one can dispute it, because it happened to us. Are you hesitant to share your faith? Are you afraid you will say the wrong thing or be stumped by someone’s questions? Just say what you know to be true. Your personal experience makes you an expert witness in the case for Christianity.

I am so blessed by this. Three saints that can testify and agree on such a foundational truth concerning the witness of being dead and then being brought to life. I wish we could adjoin this to a few other threads on this site that are being weaved as we speak. There seems to be confusion on what should be confusion free. Bless the church(saints) that uphold the testimonies of the saints.

There seems to have been a shift that has caused many within the church to discount the testimony of the saint and not understand the power of the witness. There has also risen a fear. Why? Because they do not trust experience due to the many abuses, but we should expect these abuses for there will always be counterfeits as long as Satan walks among us. Certainly we do not think we can enter a time when people profess Christ who are not saved, and not expect to hear testimonies born in the flesh? So shall we fear the true confession because of the false? Shall we throw the cleansed baby out with the dirty bath water? The new born in Christ is empowered by this miraculous experience and that is very scriptural. It should be easier to silence a man who is miraculously healed after 40 years of blindness and immobility than to hold back the testimony of the one born in Christ. One will come to neglect what the other will never fail to be thankful for.

The new convert's testimony is not about how they skipped Hell. It's about their new found Lord. It's about new eyesight that originates by the Spirit. It's about a changed life no matter how bad a sinner or how good an altruist they were prior.

ONE WILL HAVE TO REWRITE SCRIPTURE IF THEY ARE GOING TO SELL SALVATION WITHOUT SURRENDER. Within repentance is a relinquishing of control. It is to voluntarily place oneself in chains and to love and embrace them. As we mature, to love and embrace them more. A process that lasts our lifetime, but a process nontheless. The chains are freedom that draw us even closer to our Lord and we should desire so desperately that He see us in them. So that the saint lifts up his chains and says,"Not my will but Thine".

jesus didnt say go into all the world ,and preach just an experance

besides that it is repentance and faith in the croos of christ that brings and experance worth telling people

just telling some one that iv been changed by god ,wont actaly bring about the new birth or abaptisim into the spirit of christ

budusism and hinduism chages a person also ,

we must draw a line between these difference experance
and not shy away from the gosple of christ crusafied and raised from the dead that is where revivle is

the aposapls preached what the seen and herd ,becase they were witness of the death and resarection ,and of holy uneque doctrinal revalation

we also can see that they were comanded not to do anything till they recieved the anointing ,to be able to witness boldly

if we want to witness ,i dont think we should be content with a mear telling of what god did for me in just a personal contex ,but that we should pray for a filling of his spirt to witness boldly with athority ,the full gosple christ along side our personal testamony
saving faith comes by hearing and hearing the word of the gosple

I used to be a tireless smoker who would after smoking,take some wraps with me where ever I went,be it church where I played the keyboard or any other place. It was just one day after having my fill of it that an inner voice asked me "what has been your gains over the years of this indulgence?" I answered in truth that there has never been any gain. There and then I made the right decision for life and the Lord who honours our decisions has helped me to stay put in that decision never to have any contact with drugs.
