I have often wondered about the strategy of the evil one in getting men to call evil good. More so, how will he attack the religious institutions where saints attend? It is no new lesson that God teaches us concerning the efficiency of leaven, but have we taken it to heart? Its results are always the same. It is said to affect not just some, but in one way or another, all it comes in contact with.
The proliferation of the cheap gospel was the vanguard. It took out many of the watchman. The others not being able to distinguish allie from enemy were out of commission so to speak . We are now under siege by the second great offensive. With the cheap gospel paving a way for the second assult, we will now see the attack escalate in greater intensity. With a compromised defense, comes greater infiltration into the church. This time it will not be so covert. This time bringing experimentation of truth by mixing it with other religions. Ushering in anyone calling himself a believer but under a broader definition of deity. This would not have even been thought possible had the first assult been met, but now a form of universalism is welcomed in for peace sake. In addition there are others ushered in who claim salvation but live in open rebellion. Now that the use of Spiritual discernment is looked down upon(thanks to the first assult) they too join the ranks of the body and coexist in the tollerance of the age. They are brought in in love, but it is not a love that originates in the Spirit. Embracing the sinner but not feeling qualified to deal with sin, the sinner is affirmed in their sin and repetance becomes a meaningless word. That is OK because all men are considered sinners, most are prodigals, and the saint is considered a sinner because he too sins, or so it is left to others to believe. Add a corrupted view of Sanctification and one is given a key for entry into the church. Camoflauge is no longer necessary. False phrases like, Christ is my savior but not yet my Lord, have provided the enalblement for this impregnation. There will be no talk of remnant in this atmosphere for it taints scriptures taken out of context that are used to calm the majority.
There should be no need for a third wave due to the efficiency of the first which paved the way for the second. It was a leaven the church was warned about. We will now battle both, aware of the enemies strategy. May God equip us for the battles that lie ahead and may His Spirit guide us in the love we need.
