September 23rd to November 6th, I spent time in Cameroon Africa with the Navigator Missionary Organization. My church is looking to partner with the current ministries going on there in country.
This being my first time out of the states, sure there was a host of things that took me off guard, new sights, good and bad etc.
My most memorable and the thing that sticks with me the most is their level of commitment to ministry. In my opinion, they put us to shame. The level of poverty and commitment to follow God's direction, also working with college educated individuals who are giving up good jobs to follow Him. God is most certainly at work there.
I think we here still carry so many idols we think we've shaken off but haven't. Just wanted to share a bit.......
