I've been re-reading this gem from A.W. Tozer and my spirit has been deeply stirred to seek God's face and know Him more. It's almost like I never read the book before, some of the things he writes seem so new and fresh, funny how God works that way, we really do need a spirit of wisdom and revelation.
There seems to be a greater stirring among other believers I know to deeper intimacy and true heart searching prayer. A preparation for storms to come? A preparation of a new Candlestick?
What a battle is taking place in the secret closet though, a battle just to get to prayer. Wandering mind, distraction after distraction, the busy-ness of life. The battle is severe, we really need to watch each others backs. I ask and covet your prayers to stand in the battle.
