Mama, Thank you so much for your reply. You truly are in my heart and prayers. I too bear that burden of straying children. We home schooled all 4, I being radically saved 20t yrs ago. We also felt like true 1'st generation christians in our family which made the presssure great, loving our family as we did yet feeling their rejection of Christ in us. Lonely times at times but God has been so wonderfully faithful. Glory.
So to this day the need to be a true lover of Christ still reflects in my heart desire to be able to let down that heart guard toward fellow kinsmen in and out of Christ and just be real. To be able to feel the pain of another and literally take them on as my very one. Dear sister I want to be that for you.
This is actually a first forum outreach for me as I mentioned before so I am new to sharing, caring & loving on the written e-page that actually makes me feel so much more accountable for every word that I may speak. Oh, the heart is desparately wicked this too I know too well.
You know that old lust of the flesh. That wicked enmity toward the spirit still does try to rear its ugly self in most unexpected times.
Anyway, I guess I felt the need to give a little intro since I expect we'll truly meet someday.
The Lord bless you and keep you and make His face to shine upon you as you face the challenges of this new day, until we speak again.
In Christ alone we have the victory. Sister -k-
PS, Thanks again for replying in means much to me, I
love much "privately". Time for stretching.
Oh, a little update from me on mine. I spoke to my eldest for the first time in "many" months, after I left him another "we still love and miss you message" and invite.
Recieved a blocked call in return just minutes later to no reply on the other end. I called back and he answered!!! That is the best news I can give, the conversation revealed still no heart change. He lives in a world of lies blaming others for his failures that he doesn't see as that, a victim mentality. He walked away from 2 babies and an as far as I can tell an unsaved (now) ex-wife.
But I will believe for great things no matter how long it takes in a Great God. Faith is the victory and I will not except defeat. "Open your mouth wide and I will fill it"
our God is a prayer loving prayer answering God. Faith is not the issue for me but nothing between my soul and the saviour, for if we abide in Him... I'm sure you know the wonderful rest.
